两年一届的应用语言学暨语言教学国际研讨会(ALLT)聚集全球专家学者分享在应用语言学及语言教学领域之研究成果与应用心得。本次会议重点在于透过与会学者之交流探讨,以期能够提出最新发展之理论架构、更先进的分析方法及教学观点,将实证研究与实务相结合。本研讨会亦希望藉此机会为最前线教师提供最先进的教学方法以及语言习得需具备之理论基础,以期提供学生妥适实时之学习鹰架,提升其语言识读能力,更重要的是,培养迎接未来挑战所需之学习能力。2018 ALLT主题包括但不限于以下:

The biennial ALLT conference brings together researchers and practitioners all over the world to share their latest research findings and applications to the field of applied linguistics and language teaching. Through exploring and exchanging ideas among contributors, this conference aims to present research state of the art in updated theories, advanced analysis, and teaching insights that connect the empirical research to the practical. This conference also proposes to inform frontline teachers of cutting-edge approaches as well as the fundamentals of language acquisition in the classroom so as to provide proper and timely scaffolds to equip learners with language and literacy competencies, and more important, learning abilities required for the future. For 2018 ALLT, topics may include, but are not limited to, the following:
