《叙事研究前沿》创刊于2014年，由上海交通大学外国语学院主办，暂定每年出版一期。本刊主要栏目有叙事学名家访谈、叙事学前沿理论、叙事文本阐释，同时刊发国内外叙事学研究动态、综论和述评等。稿件收悉后3个月内给予回复。3个月未见回复者，请自行处理。因本刊编辑部人员有限，不能一一办理退稿。恳请理解。

Frontiers of Narrative Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by School of Foreign Languages at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Its broad range of scholarship includes narratives across a variety of media, including literary writing, film and television, journalism, and graphic narratives. It welcomes theoretically sophisticated essays that examine narratives of all kinds from a host of critical, interdisciplinary, or cross-cultural perspectives. Particular emphasis is placed upon state-of-the-art research in the field of interdisciplinary narrative inquiries. The journal publishes original articles, interviews as well as book reviews.

Frontiers of Narrative Studiesaccepts submissions in English or Chinese by authors from all over the world. The manuscript is expected to be of about 6000-8000 words and must follow the latest edition of MLA style. Submission should contain an abstract of about 200 words, a short biography of the author, and a list of keywords, as well as the main body of the essay. Manuscripts shall be submitted to Shang Biwu at English Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, 800 Dongchuan Road, Shanghai, 200240, P. R. China. 一、来稿请直接提交电子文本；

二、来稿文本应包括（1）中、英文标题；（2）中、英文摘要（200字以内）；（3）中、英文关键词（3-5个）；（4）正文；（5）作品引用；（6）作者基本信息（姓名、学位或职称、研究方向、最新主要成果、联系方式）；

三、中文字体：（1）大标题用三号大写白体；小标题用小四号大写白体；（2）正文：五号宋体；（3）中文摘要、作品引用：小五号宋体；（4）脚注由WORD文档自然生成；

四、 英文字体：一律使用Times New Roman:（1）大标题用三号白体；小标题用小四号白体；（2）正文：五号字体；（3）英文摘要、作品引用：小五号字体；（4）脚注由WORD文档自然生成；用阿拉伯数字表示序列；其他语种参照使用；

五、 行距：正文用单倍行距，小标题和文种引用间上下各空一行；

六、文字引用：（1）五行以内（不含五行）放在正文中；（2）五行（包括五行）以上，使用文字块，即左右各缩进2.5个汉语字符；

七、 引文出处：使用“双注”标注方式，即“脚注”和“引用作品”：（1）脚注仅用于对正文内容进行补充说明，不用于标明引文出处；（2）“引用作品”分为（A）文内标注，即在引文后在圆括号内注明作者和源文页码，中间空一格，如（申丹 16）；如引用同一作者的多部作品，则在作者姓名和页码之间加论著题目，出版时间与页码之间用冒号隔开，如（申丹 《叙事、文体与潜文本：重读英美经典短篇小说》：16）；（B）正文后标注：被引用作品按作者姓名拼音字母的顺序排列：

中文专著：姓名：作品名称，出版地点：出版社名称，出版时间。

如：申丹：《叙事、文体与潜文本：重读英美经典短篇小说》。北京：北京大学出版社，2009年。

英文专著：Last name, first name. book title (italicized). name of city: name  of  publisher, year of publication.

   如： Phelan, James. Living To Tell About It: A Rhetoric and Ethics of Character Narration. Ithaca: Cornell UP, 2005. 

   中文论文：姓名：作品标题，来源期刊名称，期刊号，迄止页码。

   如：赵毅衡：“梦: 一个符号叙述学研究”，《四川大学学报》(哲学社会科学版)，2013年第35期，第104-111页。

    英文论文：Last name, first name. title of article，name of journal (italicized), volume number, year of publication, page numbers.

如： Friedman, Susan Stanford. Towards a Transnational Turn in Narrative Theory: Literary Narratives, Traveling Tropes, and the Case of Virginia Woolf and the Tagores,” Narrative, 19. 1 (2011): 1-32.

八、所有中文引用文献必须提供英文翻译，以上格式要求中没有包括在内的情况请一律参照MLA格式。
