亚太传播论坛2021

当前,世界发展面临诸多危机,疫情肆虐、经济停滞、社会动荡、气候剧变。亚太作为最具活力和潜力的板块,承担持续和平与繁荣发展的重任。亚太传播格局也面临前所未有的挑战与机遇,开创了新型的学术领域。如何讲好亚太传播故事,弥合因政治文化、经济水准、制度政策,疫情危机等原因造成的区域间的传播隔阂,共同探讨亚太地区的社会发展、文化研究、传播现象等,尤其是后疫情时代亚太传播研究的范式与方法,提升亚太地区在全球范围的话语权,助力亚太发展、扩大影响力是日前海内外学者共同关心的话题。

在前两届亚太传播论坛成功举办的基础上,亚太传播交流协会(APCEA)携手亚太传播论坛联盟将于 2021 10 23-24 日举办「亚太传播论坛 2021」。本次会议将採取线下与线上混合模式,在澳门特区及横琴自贸区设置两个分论坛,同时连线海外网络分论坛,共同探讨应对新冠疫情和后疫情时代的新媒体与传播议题。届时,亚太传播论坛联盟将举行联盟成立挂牌仪式,分别在华东师范大学传播学院和澳门互联网研究学会建立常设机构,面向亚太地区传播教育机构、媒体与非牟利组织开展活动。会议将邀请亚太地区外交官、知名传播学者和业界领袖作为主旨演讲嘉宾,并向亚洲国家和地区著名新闻与传播专业的高校研究生徵集论文,优秀论文入选者将获邀参会,欢迎来稿。论坛将设立最佳论文奖。本届论坛将从会议论文中择优选入专刊出版。

为加强亚太传播研究的范式与方法探索,提高科学分析能力,本届论坛将在会议期间特别推出亚太传播论坛工作坊。首届工作坊的主题是:文本数据挖掘与分析方法。

论坛日期为 2021 10 23-24 日,设两个线下分论坛。23 日为大湾区站,地点为珠海横琴自贸区澳门青年创业谷。24 日移师澳门站,地点为澳门大学澳门研究中心。海外设线上分论坛。

四、徵文要求

请于 2021 10 1 日之前将您的论文或论文摘要(400 字左右,中英文均可)、PPT(不超多15张幻灯片)或视频创意(如有)发至邮箱info@asiapacificom.org。论文入选者将在 10 10 日前获通知。

五、参会费用

会议注册费(线下参与):学者:CN¥1000US$180 HK$1200);学生:CN¥600。注册费涵盖亚太传播论坛工作坊费,横琴口岸与澳门分会场的车费、午宴、晚宴。住宿费和交通费自理。线上参与注册费:学者:CN¥350;学生:CN¥150

Asia-Pacific Communication Forum 2021 & Opening Ceremony of Asia-Pacific Communication Forum Alliance

The world is facing tremendous crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, economic stagnation, social unrest and climate catastrophes. As the most dynamic and potentially leading player, the Asia-Pacific region shoulders the important task of sustaining global peace, economic growth and societal prosperity. The communication landscape in the Asia-Pacific region is also confronted with unprecedented challenges and opportunities, leading to a rise of new academic explorations. How to tell good stories of the Asia-Pacific region and overcome the communication barriers between countries and continents caused by political dispute, economic inequality, and in particular the Covid-19 pandemic? These are urgent topics to be discussed and explored by communication scholars, media professionals and young researchers in the Asia-Pacific region aiming to enhance the media influence of the region in the global scope, empowering citizens and disenfranchise communities in Asia-Pacific.

Building on the success of the previous two Asia-Pacific Communication Forums of 2019and 2020, the Asia-Pacific Communication Association (APCEA), in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Communication Forum Alliance (APCFA), will hold the "Asia-Pacific Communication Forum 2021" (APCF 2021) on October 23-24,2021. This Forum will be organized in a hybrid mode: two offline venues in both Macao and the Hengqin Free Trade Zone, Zhuhai, and several online panels overseas to jointly discuss new media and communication topics in response to major issues in the post-pandemic era.

Additionally, the Forum will host the opening ceremony of the APCFA, which establishes permanent offices in the School of Communication, East China Normal University, Shanghai, and the Macao Association of Internet Research, Macao respectively to coordinate activities for communication and education institutions, media and non-profit organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Forum will feature keynote speakers of distinguished diplomats, well-known communication scholars and industry leaders in Asia-Pacific. It thus calls for papers from scholars and students majoring in journalism, communication and other related fiends in Asian countries and regions. Outstanding contributors will be notified to attend the conference. The Forum will also offer best paper awards. Excellent papers will be selected for publication in a special issue.

In order to enhance the methodological exploration of Asia-Pacific communication research and improve scientific analysis capabilities, this Forum will establish the APCFA workshop of methodology. The first APCFA workshop this year is: New Approaches in Content Analysis: Traditional Methodology and Innovative Execution.

October 23-24,2021.Offline venues: The Greater Bay Area venue: October 23 at the Da wan District Station, located in Zhuhai Hengqin Free Trade Zone, Macao Youth Pioneer Valley; The Macao venue: October 24 at the Centre for Macau Studies, University of Macau. Online sub-forums are available for overseas participants.

Paper Submission:

Please submit your paper, or a400-word abstract (English or Chinese), PPT (no more than 15 slides) or creative videos (if any) to info@asiapacificom.org before October 1, 2021.Selected authors will be informed before October 10, 2021.

Conference Registration Fee: Offline participants:

Scholars:CN¥1000 (US$180 or HK$1200).  Students: CN¥600 or equivalent. The registration fee covers the workshop fee, costs of expedition between the two forum venues of Hengqin and Macao, lunch meals and a reception dinner incurred during the conference. Participants will cover their own accommodation and transportation.

Online participants: Scholars: CN¥350; Students: CN¥150.
