北京大学资深教授，博士生导师，清华大学、北京师范大学以及中国其他33所大学兼职教授；北京大学澳大利亚研究中心主任、中国语言与符号研究会会长、中国功能语言学会名誉会长、中国文体学研究会名誉会长、中国外语教育研究中心学术委员会主任、高等教育出版社外语教育研究发展中心名誉主任。主要研究方向包括系统功能语言学、应用语言学、语篇分析、文体学、语言规划等。
HU Zhuanglin is Tenured Professor of Peking University, Guest Professor of Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University and 33 other Chinese universities. Hi is Director of the Australian Studies Center at Peking University, President of the China Language and Semiotic Association, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Association of Functional Linguistics and the Chinese Stylistics Association, Director of the Academic Committee of China Research Center for Foreign Language Education, Honorary Director of HEP Research and Development Centre of Foreign Language Teaching. His major research interests include Systemic Functional Linguistics, applied linguistics, discourse analysis, stylistics, and language planning.
